About Eye Color Test

Our story

This site started after a long chat with a friend. We could not agree on the color of her eyes. Some said brown. Some said hazel. Some said gold. So we dug in. We read up on eye color, light, genes, and pigment. We learned that the same eye can look like a new color in a new light. And we learned that most tools online just match your eye to a chart.

We wanted more. A tool that reads the iris pixel by pixel. A tool that gives you the exact shade, plus your undertone, your rarity, and the look of your iris. So we built it. The first version was rough. Over time we added the AI scan, the iris reading, the face shape read, and more.

Today, the site is free for all. You upload a photo, agree to the rules, and we show you your full report. We delete your photo right after. We do not keep it.

Our mission

Our mission is simple. We want to help you know your true eye color. We want the tool to be free, fast, and safe. We want the guides to be clear, short, and easy to read. We want you to leave the site with a true answer and a bit of new know how.

We also want to be honest. Eye color is not always simple. Some eyes are a mix. Some eyes change in light. We do not hide this. We show you the full picture, flecks and all.

What we do

We run a free AI eye color scanner. You upload a clear photo of your eye. Our AI reads the iris, the flecks, the rings, and the colors. You get a full report with your eye color, undertone, rarity, iris reading, face shape, eye shape, skin tone, hair color, and an eye beauty note.

We also write a guide on eye color. The guide has pages on how eye color works, how to read it from a photo, how genes play a part, and how light changes the look. Each page is short, plain, and easy.

• Free AI eye color scanner online.
• Full report with iris reading, face shape, eye shape and more.
• Eye color chart with all natural shades.
• Plain word guides on how eye color works.
• No sign up. No pay wall for the basic scan.

How we are different

Most eye color tools just match your eye to a chart. Ours reads the photo pixel by pixel. It also reads your face shape, eye shape, skin tone, and hair color from the same photo. And we delete your photo right after the scan.

We do not sell your data. We do not show your photo to anyone. We do not use it to train new models. Your privacy is the top rule.

Meet the team

We are a small remote team. We have a maker, a writer, and an eye doc who helps us check our facts. We work from home and we love what we do.

If you want to join us, use the contact page. We are not always hiring, but we love to meet new people who care about eyes.

Our plan for the future

We plan to keep the basic scan free. We may add a paid plan in the future with scan history, high res scans, no ads, and an eye color DNA quiz. This will help us pay for the site and keep the free tier free for all.

We also plan to add more guides, an eye color quiz, and a tool to pick the best contact lens shade for your true color.

Contact us

If you have a question, an idea, or just want to say hi, use the contact page. We read all notes and we try to reply in a day or two.

Thank you for being here. We hope this tool helps you find your true eye color.
