What is an affiliate link

An affiliate link is a link that tells the seller we sent you. If you buy some thing from the seller, the seller gives us a small fee. The fee comes from the seller, not from you. The price you pay is the same as if you went to the seller with out our link.

We use these fees to help pay for the site. They help us keep the free scan free for all.

Where we use affiliate links

We may use affiliate links on the guide pages and on the eye color chart page. For example, if we link to a contact lens shop, that link may be an affiliate link. If you buy lenses, we may earn a small fee.

We only link to products that fit our topic. We do not link to bad products or scams. We try to link to products we would use our selves.

How we pick what to link to

We pick links based on what we think will help you. We look at the product, the seller, and the price. We read reviews. We do not link to a product just for the fee. If a product is bad, we do not link to it, even if the fee is high.

If you see a bad product on our site, use the contact page and tell us. We will check and take it down if needed.

How the fee works

When you click an affiliate link and buy, the seller gives us a small fee. The fee is a small share of the price. It does not change the price for you.

We use the fees to pay for the site. We use them to keep the free scan free, to add new guides, and to fix bugs.

Our promise to you

We promise to be up front about affiliate links. We will not hide them. We will not push a product just for the fee. We will only link to products that fit our topic and that we think are good.

If you have a question about an affiliate link, use the contact page and ask. We are happy to talk.
